it means i am
more able to lose
it means I am
more capable
than most to
sit with pain
it means I’m not
afraid to lose
because i have
everything to gain
if not life
than less pain
god forbid
some understanding
I am like a decripit
ship ready to set sail
i am crip but
not afraid to fail
and with a brain
in overdrive

that’s determined to be
more than alive
