The very first version of The Black Box Theory was published as part of an eponymous exhibition curated by Fiona Darbon Van Maercke. Presented at bb15 in Linz, Austria, this exhibition included the work of Alexandre Jimenez, Frédéric Xavier Liwer, Guillaume Clermont, Hanan Klei, Hannes Waldschütz, Jakub Vrba, Nina Glockner and Piero Bisello; see: www.bb15.at/2016/the-black-box-theory. This new, two-part bilingual version – one in French, the other in English – was edited by Fiona Darbon Van Maercke and Guillaume Clermont with the help of Andréanne Godin, Audrey J. and Agathe Alberti-Bock.
